Hollister Athletic Hall of Fame
-
Hollister has a deep tradition with State Champions, State Qualifiers, State Placers, All-Selections, and numerous other accolades that have been awarded to individuals and teams over the years. At Hollister, we have a large number of players, coaches, and contributors who have been a part of our great athletic tradition. These individuals and teams have been a great source of pride to our community, and we would like the opportunity to recognize them. We at Hollister High School would also love our community's input in this process.
-
Nominations will be collected between October 1st and May 1st of each school year. Committee members will meet twice a year to review nominations and vote. No more than two individuals will be inducted in a given year, and a maximum of one team per year. We will then recognize our new Hall of Fame class each year at halftime of one of our early-season home football games. All nominees will be kept on the ballot for three years. If they have not been voted into the Hall of Fame after three years, they will be removed from the ballot and will need to be nominated again for future consideration.
Hall of Fame Nomination FormAn emphasis will be placed on this individual's accomplishments while at Hollister High School.
-
Athletes: Must have graduated from Hollister and have been out of school for at least 10 years.
Coaches: Must have ended their coaching responsibilities at Hollister for at least 3 years.
Contributors: Allowed to be nominated at any time.
Teams: Must be after 10 years of the accomplishment. Place in the top four of the state or an outstanding team that overcame some hardship.
