Welcome to Hollister High School

At Hollister High School (HHS), our mission is simple and strong: We prepare all students to be successful citizens in college, career, and life. We support our mission by offering a high-quality education grounded in character, critical thinking, and real-world preparation. We are honored to serve, live, and make lasting memories where we truly embody family–students, parents, colleagues, staff, and our community.

HHS is an outstanding community of leaders and learners where relationships, collaboration, and a student-centered focus drive everything we do.

At HHS, we place students at the heart of our mission. We strive each day to provide meaningful examples, valuable resources, and impactful experiences that help students grow:

  • As individuals of high character, who respect and care for others.

  • Academically, by learning to think critically and understand the world around them.

  • For their future, through opportunities to explore college and career pathways and plan for life after graduation.

We believe this growth is best achieved through strong partnerships among students, staff, and the community. At Hollister, we deeply value those relationships. Our faculty and community members are constantly working together to provide students with the best possible support across all areas of development.

Hollister High School offers students more than just a strong academic foundation—it provides a place to thrive. Career exploration, college readiness, and character development are woven into the fabric of our school culture to help every student reach their full potential.

We are proud to be recognized for various excellence awards including Best of Southwest Missouri. These recognitions reflect the passion and dedication of our staff and the strength of our school community.

A family atmosphere and unwavering focus on kids is what makes Hollister High School truly exceptional. Welcome to HHS—where we grow learners, leaders, and lifelong success stories.
