COUNSELING SERVICES

The Hollister School District is committed to supporting the well-being of all students through a comprehensive counseling and mental health program. Our team of dedicated school counselors provides a wide range of services to students and families—from academic and career guidance to social-emotional support. If you need assistance or can't find what you're looking for, please contact your building counselor directly.

In addition to our counseling staff, the district employs a full-time School Social Worker to help connect families with resources, provide support during times of crisis, and advocate for student needs.

Through a partnership with Burrell Behavioral Health, each building in the district—including the Early Childhood Center—is staffed with full-time School-Based Clinicians who offer individual, group, and family therapy. Two School-Based Support Specialists also serve the district by helping students build coping skills and self-regulation strategies. Students are typically referred to Burrell services by teachers or school counselors, and parental consent is required for outside referrals.

Burrell also collaborates with our educators by offering consultation services and professional development focused on student mental health and behavioral wellness.
